Britain Pressed the Button for 2025 Tourism

England is one of Marmaris' most important tourism partners. All negotiations with England to date bring positive results for Marmaris tourism. The destination promotion activities carried out in recent years between Jet2.com, one of the UK's major tour operator and airline companies, in cooperation with the Marmaris Chamber of Commerce (MTO), Marmaris Municipality and YDA Dalaman Airport, contribute greatly to achieving positive results in terms of tourism figures.

Recently, Marmaris Chamber of Commerce President S. Mutlu Ayhan, Jet2 Holidays and Jet2.com Airports and Tourism Organizations General Manager Jacob Bramley, Senior Manager Matthew Millar, YDA Dalaman Airport Operations and Revenues Director A. Orçun Songur, Jet2 Turkey Representative MTS Globe He met with Operations Manager Rahman Kale and Aegean Regional Manager Tanju İçten. During the meeting hosted by S. Mutlu Ayhan, while the 2024 tourism season was evaluated, Jet2 officials expressed their satisfaction with the tourism relationship with Marmaris.

Jet2 Jacob Bramley, General Manager of Holidays and Jet2.com Airports and Tourism Organizations, conveyed the tourism figures for 2024 during the meeting and said that the majority of British passengers coming to Dalaman, where 89 flights are operated weekly, prefer Marmaris for their holidays. Stating that 30% of the holiday reservations made from England are carried out by Jet2 Holidays, Jacob Bramley underlined that a significant portion of their flights to Turkey are to Dalaman. Expressing that they are very satisfied with the tourism relationship with Marmaris, the authorities stated that they are planning to move the start date of flights a little further for 2025, on March 14, and aim to operate flights by the end of November.
