 Two Tuzla class patrol ships to operate in Turkey and Qatar's Umm Al Houl Naval Base A military ceremony and commissioning program was held for the ship at Aksaz Naval Base Command in Marmaris district of Muğla.

Turkish Naval Forces Commander Admiral Ercüment Tatlıoğlu also attended the ceremony. At the ceremony, the features of the two patrol ships that will serve in Qatar were explained. Admiral Tatlıoğlu said, "Our naval power continues to contribute to global security."

 Based on the "Implementation regarding the deployment of Turkish Forces in Qatar territory" agreement signed between Turkey and the friendly and brotherly country Qatar on April 28, 2016, Turkish Naval Forces A ceremony was held on the occasion of the two ships affiliated with the company to serve in Qatar. Under the Naval Component Command to be established within the Turkish Combined Joint Force Command, two Tuzla class patrol ships TSKG - TCG Kuşadası and TCG Kumkale will operate at Umm Al Houl Naval Base in Qatar. It was stated that this step, which aims to strengthen the bilateral relations between the Turkish army and Qatar and to improve interoperability by conducting joint training with the Qatar Navy, will make a significant contribution to increasing security and stability in the region. 



 “Our naval power continues to contribute to global security” 
 Naval Forces Commander Admiral Ercüment Tatlıoğlu, in his speech at the commissioning ceremony of TCG Kuşadası and TCG Kumkale ships held at Marmaris Aksaz Naval Base, He emphasized the contributions of the Turkish Navy to national and international maritime security. Tatlıoğlu stated that the Turkish Naval Forces has become a force that contributes to global security and produces national weapons and systems, and also drew attention to its military cooperation with Qatar. He stated that the Turkish Land Component Command, which has been operating in Qatar since 2015, has been carrying out military training, assistance and consultancy activities under the name of Qatar Turkish United Joint Command since 2017. He stated that Turkey-Qatar relations and maritime security will be further strengthened with the participation of TCG Kuşadası and TCG Kumkale ships in this mission. Tatlıoğlu concluded his speech by stating that the Turkish Naval Forces was inspired by historical achievements and that he believed that the personnel would continue to protect the country's interests with their sense of duty and discipline. The ceremony ended by commemorating the martyrs and deceased veterans with mercy. 

 "We will wave the glorious flag of the Republic of Turkey and demonstrate our capabilities" 
 Speaking at the commissioning ceremony of TCG Kuşadası and TCG Kumkale ships, TCG Kuşadası Commander Naval Lieutenant Fatih Efe emphasized the strong ties between Turkey and Qatar. Efe stated that the ships will contribute to regional stability and strengthening of identity and said, "TCG Kumkale and TCG Kuşadası will be the guarantee of peace and security in the region."  
 Efe stated that, as the representative of the Turkish Naval Forces, they will conduct training and activities together with Qatari sailors and contribute to maritime security. Addressing the military personnel, Efe emphasized that he believes that they will wave the Turkish flag with pride and become Turkish sailors worthy of their ancestors.
