Kemal Özsoy AKA “Fisherman Kemal” Lost His Life
Marmaris One of his notables, Kemal Özsoy, nicknamed Balıkçı Kemal, died at the age of 85 as a result of a brain hemorrhage. Kemal Özsoy, who was transferred from Marmaris to Denizli, where he was hospitalized as a result of a clot in the brain, died as a result of organ failure and brain hemorrhage in the hospital where he was treated.

He started fishing with a small boat in the late 1960s and turned it into almost a fleet. He was nicknamed "Fisherman Kemal". Kemal Özsoy, the elder brother of Erol Özsoy from the Özsoy family, known as "Çebişler" by the people of Marmaris, and the father of İbrahim, Uğur and Oğuz Özsoy, had recently lost his wife Birsen Özsoy.
His funeral will be on Wednesday, April 3, 2024
Balıkçı Kemal's funeral will be brought from Denizli tomorrow and will be taken to the afternoon prayer. Following the funeral prayer to be performed at the Cemetery Green Mosque, he will be buried in the Marmaris City Cemetery in the same place.
