With a study carried out under the leadership of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry in the Milas district of Muğla. The protection and spread of Posidonia meadows will be supported. Within the scope of the project carried out in cooperation with Muğla Provincial Directorate of Agriculture, YK Energy and Eastern Mediterranean University, works will be carried out in the cooling water field of Kemerköy Thermal Power Plant. This project is expected to increase the contribution of seagrass meadows to the ecosystem and preserve the natural balance.

He stated that within the scope of the project, work will be carried out on an area of ​​16 hectares in the first year. These studies are planned to be an important step towards maintaining the balance of the marine ecosystem and increasing diversity.
